Effective and Long-Lasting Benefit Proof of chiropractic treatment's effectiveness and long-lasting benefit to patients with low back pain comes
from a relatively large and independent British study, which was reported in the prestigious British Medical Journal. The
research, which involved 741 patients (half of whom received traditional medical care and the other half received chiropractic
treatment), revealed that those under chiropractic care felt significantly better within six months than the patients who
received hospital treatment. What is more, they also remained significantly better during the two-year follow-up. Not only
were the patients under chiropractic care better able to perform everyday tasks at home, but they missed less time at work.
